Do you represent employers or just employees in workers’ compensation cases?

Aug 6, 2018 Jordan Weinstein

Our practice is devoted almost entirely to representing employees with workers’ compensation claims. When someone is hurt on the job and unable to work, with bills to pay and dependents to support, we feel that the injured employee is at an especially vulnerable time and needs to have their matter resolved in the best possible way, and as quickly as possible so that they can get all of the benefits they are entitled to and deserve. We truly appreciate the opportunity to help people in difficult situations like this and we are very good at what we do.

There are a small number of workers’ compensation cases in which employers do not have workers’ compensation insurance coverage at the time an alleged employee was hurt and we have been called upon occasionally to help employers in that situation.

While those cases are few, we feel that it is beneficial to our clients who are injured employees for our firm to occasionally defend an uninsured employer because it gives us an opportunity to think like an insurance carrier or an employer.
